The production process of rubber expansion joints

Rubber expansion joints, EPDM rubber expansion joints, adopt vulcanization technology

Transform the linear molecular structure of plastic rubber into a three-dimensional network structure with an inner layer of rubber.

The middle layer is reinforced with SNT series nylon 66 ultra-high strength industrial filament cord fabric.

The rubber elbow balls with the outer rubber layer composite are vulcanized by injection molding.

It is composed of cast iron and forged metal flanges.






They are classified by shape into concentric equal diameter, concentric unequal diameter and eccentric unequal diameter.


According to structure, they are classified into single sphere, double sphere and elbow sphere.


According to the connection form, flange connection, threaded connection, and threaded pipe flange connection.


It is classified into seven grades according to working pressure: 0.25MPa, 0.6MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa, 2.5MPa, 4.0MPa and 6.4MPa.


Performance characteristics

1. Small in size, light in weight, good in elasticity, and convenient for installation and maintenance.


2. During installation, it can generate lateral, axial and angular displacements, and is not restricted by the pipe not being concentric or the flange not being parallel.


3. It can reduce the noise transmitted by the structure during operation and has strong vibration absorption capacity.
